Nancy Weber, CMHC
Nancy Weber is a founding faculty member of the Vermont Center for Family Studies, and has taught courses in Bowen theory for many years. She served as President of the VCFS Board, and is currently a board member. She was a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and served as adjunct professor in the Graduate Counseling program at UVM, where she supervised practicum students. She practiced family therapy for many years as a member of the Dolan House group, and was a supervising therapist at the UVM Counseling Center. In the late 1980’s, Nancy led the effort to obtain state licensure for Clinical Mental Health Counselors and served as a member of the Vermont State licensing board for several years. She attended the post-graduate training program at the Bowen Center for three years. Nancy’s interests including the practice of dynamic neutrality in family leadership.
